We're thrilled to be partnering with the Oxford Cultural Collective for the launch of 'Migrations', a new series celebrating cultural difference as a positive and defining characteristic of British culinary culture. Through a range of events, the series will explore how food, drink and hospitality can give voice to those from different communities and be used to break down barriers and build respect and understanding.
The year-long series will include contributions from many prominent chefs, food writers and broadcasters, whose work has established them as respected cultural ambassadors.
Kicking things off we have a very special dinner from our old friend Romy Gill MBE, whose inimitable West-Bengal-meets-the-West-Country style has earned her widespread critical acclaim. Romy is joined by guest speakers Baroness Sayeeda Warsi and Baroness Helena Kennedy QC, two of the UK's most powerful advocates for the interests of those in migrant communities.
Tickets are priced at £75 and include dinner, drinks and the chance to mingle with some of the industry's biggest names.
